Julie first fell in love with Pilates when teaching surf focused Pilates sessions in the beautiful Indonesian island of Lombok. She then completed her APPI training in Pilates Matwork, as well as her therapeutic Yoga course. She loves utilising her Pilates and Yoga skills to aid the recovery of her patients to achieve their aims.
She has also completed a mindful-based stress reduction diploma and uses some of these techniques to encourage her patients to be more mindful in everyday life. She has noticed a big impact on this regarding peoples decreased stress levels and pain.
Growing up Julie was a keen competitive swimmer, as she still trains with her local swimming club, and occasionally competes. She also loves to keep fit with her own personal practice of Pilates and Yoga as well as running across the Sussex countryside, or along Brighton beach.
